Cricket Ireland and NV Play partner to deliver end-to-end Recreational Cricket platform in multi-year deal
Dublin, Ireland, 12 April 2022 – Cricket Ireland and NV Play today launch an exciting new multi-year partnership that sees a nationwide rollout of NV Play’s industry defining cricket technology platform, offering a totally integrated digital scoring platform across Irish recreational cricket for the first time.
Initially spanning four seasons, this transformative agreement places NV Play’s cricket scoring & competition management platform into the hands of all grassroots and recreational cricketers across both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. This is in addition to NV Play & Cricket Ireland’s highly successful High Performance partnership of the past two years, and is a key building block of Cricket Ireland’s expansive ‘Creating a Cricket Island’ Strategic Plan for 2021-23.
This partnership also sees the launch of NV Play Cricket Scorer, an exciting new mobile scoring extension to the wider NV Play platform. The NV Play mobile scoring app is available now in both the Apple Appstore and Google Play.
This exciting new mobile app is specifically design for recreational cricket, whilst working collaboratively with NV Play’s best-in-class laptop-based Pro Cricket Scorer to deliver an integrated end to end solution for the entire game. Now recreational cricketers have access to the same technology as the professional and international game.

Online Match Centres featuring ball by ball live scores, live streams & video highlights, match schedules and competition centres will also be able to be integrated directly into the Cricket Ireland website and the sites of Connacht Cricket Union, Cricket Leinster, Munster Cricket Union, North West Cricket Union and Northern Cricket Union - Ireland’s five Provincial Unions.
From this foundation of universal digital scoring, Clubs and Leagues across Ireland will also have direct access to NV Play’s full range of premium offerings, including Live Streaming, Video Scoreboard & Replay Screen and Video Analysis tools.
This partnership serves as a blueprint for NV Play’s vision of a top down, end-to-end cricket technology platform spanning the core pillars of Data Collection, Talent Identification, Performance Pathways and Fan Engagement.
NV Play's expanded recreational cricket partnership with Cricket Ireland initially runs through to December 2025.
